Kogut residence, San Diego, California.
Our challenge here was to transform this small dark room into a joyous master shower. First we enlarged the skylight, and lifted the ceiling too. Our designers provided strong LED lights in the shower stall.
With a modern look, we used vertical tile with inlaid metal strip profiles and a mosaic stack tile for subtle interest.
Black river rock cobbles provide a constrast and a gentle foot massage while showering.
Moisture management is handled by Schluter Kerdi waterproofing membrane in the enclosure and with a silent Panasonic Whisperlight fan that scoops out 80cf of moist air a minute.
